Senior Portraits in Parker, Colorado | Nico’s Session

A few weeks ago, I had the chance to hang out with Nico for his senior portrait session in Parker, Colorado — and what a great evening it was. We started with photos around downtown Parker, exploring the streets and textures the area has to offer, before heading over to the Cherry Creek Trail for a little variety in scenery.

From the very beginning, I had a blast just talking with Nico. One of the things I love most about senior sessions is learning about each student — their passions, their families, and what drives them. For Nico, one word stood out to me as I left our session: dedicated.

Soccer has been a huge part of Nico’s life since he was about four years old, and his commitment to the sport is inspiring. He told me about how he plays on a competitive team that’s nearly an hour away, traveling several times a week just to practice. That kind of dedication says so much about his character, his focus, and his love for the game.

It wasn’t just soccer, though. Hearing Nico share stories about his family reminded me how important these connections are, and how meaningful it is to capture this chapter of life for both seniors and their loved ones.

This session left me feeling thankful — thankful for the opportunity to meet incredible seniors like Nico, thankful for the trust families place in me to capture these moments, thankful for the stories I get to be part of through photography, and thankful to the parents who trust me with their seniors portraits, even if they cant attend the session themselves.

Nico, you absolutely rocked your session. I can’t wait to see all the great things ahead of you as you finish your senior year and carry that dedication with you into the future.
